Yamaha quickly changed all their optional E series and C series necks to the
Custom stamp soon after production.
These 62E1 Series necks were an upgrade option on the Yamaha alto YAS-62III series.
Lately, the E1 series sales, alto and tenor, have been getting a lot of good pro feedback, it seems the easy blow combined with a good tone is finally catching on. We have had some extremely happy E1 pro sales.
These Yamaha necks are designed to fit all the current Yamaha advanced Saxophones, if you have a vintage 62, you can include the Yamaha made adapter () to convert your 1st Gen YTS-62 to take any and all the newer Yamaha necks.
