For Sale is a Money Clip that has two faces on the front and along the edge says “Manufacture Artistique D’Instruments De Musique LeBlanc Paris”. The money clip measures about 2 ½” L with the round face part 1 ½” diameter. The height/space for bills is ¼” and the band width is 7/8”. The letters and faces are raised. LeBlanc was an instrument manufacturer: clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and mouthpieces. This image was a trademark of LeBlanc Corporation in Paris and its Kenosha, Wisconsin branch. Other objects made with the same image were a wall plaque and cuff links that I’ve seen. The wall plaque was given to Music Stores to display. The money clip was possibly given to employees to mark a certain number of years of employment. This will be a great, unique gift for anyone who plays an instrument or to someone in the Music industry. I haven’t seen another one like this.
I own this and it looks pretty new - in Very Good condition. There is discoloration on the back from the age of the metal.
