Vntg Handpainted Porcelain Chamberstick 1978 signed. Blue details with small pink flowers. Inscription " To Sister Joan, from the 1978 Graduation Class of Guardian Angels School Ann Gualdoni, Detroit Mi. Chambersticks were used in the early 19th century. If a person needed to move about their chambers in the evening, these were close at hand. There were some homes that employed a man solely for the purpose of tending to the house candles.
