    Description

Vintage Duncan Ceramic 1974 Victorian Cooke Jar Partially Glazed Can be Painted
I purchased this cookie jar years ago at an estate sale with the intentions of repainting it and using
it in my kitchen, it didn't happen.
It is that time in my life that I need to downsize my
    household and many
    of my craft items
    will need to
    find new crafters/artists.
This cookie jar is glazed inside the jar and inside the cover, so the rest of it could be painted with your
ideas on the colors of the "Painted Lady" Victorian. That was the main reason I purchased it, to create
    it MY way. It is
    approximately
    11" tall x 7 1/2" with the steps wide x 5 3/4".
Someone did try to paint it, but failed miserably. The top of the gabled roof is missing a piece of it's corner,
    but it was
sanded down and painted. Also a chip on the ledge of the steps looks like it was glued back on.
    Those defects were there
when I purchased it, but once painted one would never notice.
The "Duncan Ceramic Product 1974" is printed on the under part of the roof and the side of the house.
I am willing to let it go for a reasonable price in hopes someone will want it for a craft project and paint it
beautifully. It could be a wonderful piece. It is heavy and weighs 4 pounds 11 ounces WITHOUT padding/boxing
which will take quite a bit
to get it to the buyer safely. I may ship it FedEx if it is less costly.
I know it stinks when shipping costs as much or if not more than the item that is selling. Sorry, but can't do anything about the Post Office pricing, it is what it is on all of us....
I ship to the United States ONLY.
Please take a close look at the photos which I consider part of the description.
    I
try to describe what I see, but if I miss something, I am truly sorry!
    I am not
    an infallible human.
I leave feedback as soon as it is received from you, the buyer. Receiving feedback tells me you have received your package and it arrived safely.
It also tells me this is the end of our transaction and allows me to leave feedback for you as well.
Thanks for viewing and as always, have a great time on eBay.
    May God Bless!
