    This listing is for a vintage Cordier reed trimmer/clipper for Bb tenor saxophone reeds. This is one of the older style ones, which would have a circular touch piece (or 'button') on the back that you press to make the cut, as opposed to a lever. The button, however, is missing on this one. It is still functional if you just press (hard) directly on the back plate. I would imagine you could affix something to it to replicate the missing button easily enough. Perhaps a saxophone key 'pearl' superglued on would make a suitable replacement? Other than the missing button, it is in very good condition. It has normal tarnishing of the metal, but no rust. These run around brand new. I have priced this one accordingly to account for the missing part.
