    Description

    The Siemens GCA121.1U direct coupled actuator is designed for two-position control of building HVAC dampers.  It produces 160 lb-in (18 Nm) of torque, operates on 24VAC and 24Vdc and spring returns to its un-powered state when power is removed.  It requires only two wires to operate.  When 24 power is applied, the actuator rotates in one direction.  When power is removed, the actuator returns to its original position via the internal spring. It slides directly over a damper drive shaft up to 1-inch in diameter and is held in place with an anti-rotation bracket (included).  It features brushless DC motor technology with stall protection, bi-directional fail-safe spring return and a patented self-centering shaft coupling.  It also features an all metal housing, manual override and an easily visible position indicator.  The running time is 90 sec. operating, 15 sec. typical (30 sec. max.) closing on power loss.  It uses 7 VA of power operating and 5 VA of power holding.  It produces 95 degrees of rotation.  Electrical connections are made to its 18 AWG, 3 ft (0.9 m) long cable.  Actuators are new, in their original boxes, excess stock.  Boxes show signs of handling.  Includes free shipping.
