RARE AMERICAN FLYER #314AW STEAM LOCOMOTIVE W/WHISTLE TENDER & WHISTLE CONTOLLER
Hard to find American Flyer S Gauge 314AW Pennsylvania 4-6-2 K5 style steam loco with whistle in tender and whistle control box, as found in an estate sale. It is in very good working condition. It runs good and will make a great operating layout loco. It has the smoke and choo-choo unit in the engine and the whistle and the four-position reverse units in the tender. It smokes and choo-choo's good. The reverse unit has been working good. The headlight operates. The whistle in the tender works real good with the whistle control box. I am including a copy of the whistle control box instructions for hookup and operation to understand how it works. The whistle control box has heavy wear, light rust, and some missing paint especially on the base - see photos. Engine and tender have some light rub/play marks overall - see photos.
