Olive Wood Lot 20 Pounds Great Color Grain Figure Craft Bowl Scales Turning

In this lot you will receive 20 pounds of olive wood comparable to the pieces shown.
This is primarily burl wood pieces with beautiful color and grain figuring. I misted pieces in the photos to give an idea of the look when the wood is finished.
Sizes vary as shown and are 1-1/2" or thicker. These came from trees, sometimes 100+ years old, that were removed from old groves.
With large, heavy root sections often containing lots of rock and dirt inclusions, hauling, cleaning and cutting into these usable pieces is a lot of work.  It is also getting harder and harder to acquire. Saving these treasures and seeing the beauty that can emerge helps make it worthwhile.
Most of the wood has seasoned for several years and it is really nice to work with. So the only limit is your imagination. These are a valuable resource for any woodworker or hobbyist.
