    Description

    This mallet has a solid nylon cylindrical head 5" long, the large end being 2" in diameter and moderately domed.  The small end is 3/4" in diameter, and flat with a rounded edge, and is NOT wedge-shaped.  It is mounted to an ergonomic handle  made of hardwood and measuring 10 1/2" long and 1" thick at it widest points.
    This mallet is ideal for dent-and-scratch-free work on all metals except lead or something equally soft.  A nice thing about the nylon is that you can custom-shape it with files, sandpaper, etc.
    The total weight of this mallet is 8 1/2 ounces and is 12 1/2" long overall.
