Up for sale are New Buffet/Evette Clarinet Tuning Ring – Single
New Old Stock.
These are made of precision machined hard rubber.
These tuning rings came from Buffet/Evette as part of a factory parts close out shipment in the 1980s, and were made for some of their clarinets produced at that time.
We cannot confirm precisely what brands or models these will fit…please refer to the measurements to determine if they will work in your barrel.
When a clarinet barrel is pulled out from the upper joint to improve intonation, the resulting interior gap can produce clarity of sound issues.
These rings are designed to fill that gap and create a more uniform bore surface.
The rings have no adhesive on them, they are not designed to stay adhered inside the barrel.
Any ring(s) used would need to be placed into the bottom of the barrel each time the clarinet is assembled.
