    The directions for the Macrame Sweater pattern are written to assist you in knotting the size sweater you need instead of a specific size.  This particular pattern is designed for size 16 to 18.  However you should take your own measurements and make the pattern for your dress form (which can be  make from cardboard.)  Knotting is given for the most part in inches instead of rows allowing for size and measurements as well as some individuals' knotting tighter than others.
