    Description

    Lionel standard gauge 380E’s were manufactured between 1926 and 1929 in maroon, mojave, or dark green enamel (later in production). This example is the darker green, which is the rarest of all three examples, and would be a good candidate for parts or repair. It is all original (including the E-unit which we cannot test as the wheels are swollen), and has the weights. On the down side, it is missing a screw, needs wheels, one end of the roller pick-up is broken, there is paper stuck to the roof as shown, and it is missing some handrails and a pantograph.
