    Lionel standard gauge black 392E locomotive with black 384T tender, as well as original boxes and master carton. Produced between 1932 and 1939, this version dates to 1932 due to black loco with copper and brass trim and inclusion of black 384T tender. Features 4-4-2 loco. Engine runs. All original, except for 4 pilot wheels on front truck and 2 rear truck wheels on loco, and boiler front. About 95% of boiler fronts on black 392E locos sold today have been replaced. Boxes come as shown in pictures. The engine box has an insert, while the tender box does not. One flap is missing on the master carton. In overall Excellent to Excellent Plus (C7 to C7+) condition. Superb piece for the collector!
