Indian FTR/FTRs 1200 Headlight Housing Script Decals/Stickers/Emblems

Description

Up for sale is a set of vinyl “Indian” script decals for the head light cover of the FTR/FTRs 1200 models.   The decals are cut to order from Oracal 651 Intermediate vinyl, that is a 7 year, 2.5 Mil vinyl, and come in your choice of 47 different colors.  The decals are very easy to install,  and can be installed in minutes.  The decals measure 2 ¾ inches long by about ¾ inches high. The decals really add some interest to the plain area of the head light assembly, or anywhere else you choose to place them.  The decals are very durable and can be washed and cleaned as you would the regular paint surfaces.  The only enemy is Micro Fiber.  The best material for caring for your decals is soft cotton,  like old concert shirts turned inside out, or similar.
To install the decals;
1)  Start by cleaning the area of the head light housing,  or surface of your choice,  with alcohol or alcohol wipes,  and wash your hands.
2)  Remove decal backing and apply one or two drops of soap solution, (three drops of Dawn dishwashing liquid, to 10-12 ounces of water),  directly to decal.
3)  Slide the decal into the best position and blot out any fluid and air bubbles with a paper towel and your finger.
4)  Apply some gentle pressure with a credit card or decal squeegee to rub from center out to edges of decal while applying some heat with a heat gun or hair dryer to seat the decal.
5)  Once decal is installed and smoothed out,  slowly peel transfer paper back against itself until removed.
6)  Apply some light heat while smoothing out decal with your finger.  Don’t worry if some small bubbles are still visible.  Final bonding will occur when placed out in the sun.  That’s It !!
JUST REMEMBER……NO MICRO FIBER, and do not use a brush or pressure washer to clean.
Decals can be waxed and cleaned just like your paint surfaces.
If you ever wanted to remove the decals,  all you need is a little heat from a heat gun or hair dryer,  and the decals will stretch and peel off,  without even a trace of glue.
