    Description

    A failing START capacitor will normally cause a pool pump to have a slow sluggish startup or humming with no startup.  These symptoms tend to get worse in colder weather.
    Offered here is an exact Start Capacitor replacement for Hayward 1.0 hp and 1.5 hp
    single speed
    Super Pump, Super II, and MaxFlo pool pumps (115v or 230v).  This Start Capacitor will also fit and work in the .75 hp. versions.
    This is a very easy repair with many online instructions.  I have used this part to repair many Hayward pumps and it will cure many (but not all) startup problems.  Its an inexpensive repair to try before shelling out for a new pool pump.
