BRAND NEW EMPTY GRADED CARD SLAB
You will receive 1 brand new trading card slab. All of our slabs come wrapped in a plastic sleeve and are ready to use. Create your own encapsulated trading card, create your own brand and design your own label. (Trading card and label shown not included)
This holder will fit a standard size 35pt trading card and is not for use with cards of different thickness.

These holders are not a snap together style, they are the same type of holders used by the major grading companies. When cards are slabbed in quantity, they are welded together with a sonic welder that permanently encases the card.
When sealing the slabs individually most users use a glue applied in light dabs on either the 4 corners of the slab or a light bead going down the sides of the slab, depending on what kind of seal you want for your slab.
We recommend a glue designed to work with PMMA acrylic called Aron Alpha type 221. This is available at Amazon and is not expensive. Most use the fast-setting type of glue which has a 10 second seal time and doesn’t require laying a book over the closed slab for an extended period of time to keep it together or any other method of holding the two halves of the slab together.
Put the card in the bottom half of the slab, carefully apply the glue LIGHTLY to either the sides or corners of the slab being careful not to put too much glue as it could get on the card! Once glue is applied immediately put the top half of the slab over the card and bottom half and hold together tightly in your hand or by another method for approximately one minute. Glue will fully cure in 24 hours but with the fast setting glue your slab will be sealed together and dry naturally.
For those who do not feel comfortable gluing the slab you can still hold the slab together by putting both halves together and then inserting the closed slab into a perfect fit graded card bag.
