    21812 #812 T&P powered BALDWIN DIESEL Switch Engine.
    This
    very attractive
    DIESEL SWITCHER
    was manufactured by A.C. Gilbert in 1959-60 for use with the 3/16 inch scale S Gauge trains. It is in
    EXCELLENT
    overall condition.
    This classic AC POWERED LOCOMOTIVE has a very nice orange & black painted body shell with all steps and no visible damage. It is hard to see but it does appear to have the usual hairline crack at the rear screw hole. It is only missing the (replaceable) diesel horn. It has nice bright numbers and Texas & Pacific lettering. It has two operating knuckle couplers. The loco has been bench tested and IT DOES WORK.
    NOTE:
    It has been in storage for over 35 years so it is in need of some basic
    maintenance
    and cleaning.
